The British Domino League Caribbean programme was more than a series of matches. It was a designed sports tourism experience linking competition, culture, government, media, hotels, attractions and island hospitality.
Meetings and visits included the Governor-General, Minister of Sports, Director of Public Prosecutions and Institute of Sports.
The tour included games with the Jamaica Gleaner, strengthening the relationship between domino and national media.
In Barbados the tour filled two hotels; in St. Lucia it filled one major hotel, showing domino's potential as a tourism product.
