This is the story of how organized competitive domino became a platform for discipline, leadership, corporate partnership, international friendship, sports tourism, community development and cultural preservation.
Beginning in 1968, Flavius Laidley developed as a competitive player and later became involved as a consultant and chief judge.
In Canada, he became a co-founder and player of Time & Place Domino Club in Toronto, a leading team during that period.
The 1993 Dragon Stout All-Island Domino Competition placed domino on a national platform with D&G sponsorship and government presence.
Through the British Domino League tours, domino became a vehicle for travel, culture, tourism and friendship across borders.
